The Albuquerque Bar Association welcomed more than 300 participants to its annual Law Day luncheon May 2nd. The program, “The 14th Amendment: Transforming American Democracy,” was presented by the Honorable Christina Armijo, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico. Chief Judge Armijo analyzed six cases that had a defining impact on Due Process jurisprudence.
The Abq Bar was honored to host Chief Judge Armijo as well as Chief Justice Daniels in delivering the annual memorial list.
The program also recognized the bright young minds who won the 2017 Gene Franchini High School Mock Trial Competition, the State Bar Essay Contest, and the ‘Breaking Good’ Contest.
